from saliva. It has the advantages of being painless and
non-invasive and has a high acceptance rate. It is more convenient
and free, and the acceptance of users is also higher.
Product Description:
This product consists of a saliva collector (sampling funnel +
sample collection tube), a sample collection tube cap, and a DNA
preservation solution tube.
Saliva Collection Kit for collecting, storing, and transporting DNA
from saliva samples at room temperature
The preservation solution can store saliva DNA for two years at
room temperature and is suitable for a variety of DNA extraction
and purification kits.
The humanized design of the collection funnel conforms to the human
mouth, making the collection process simple and easy. There is a
leak-proof gasket in the cap to seal against leaks.

Instructions:
1. Relax your cheeks and gently rub for 30 seconds to produce
saliva;
2. Gently spit about 2ml of saliva into the saliva collection
funnel;
3. Care should be taken to avoid excessive foam when collecting
saliva (the upper foam is not included);
4. Open the DNA preservation solution tube and unscrew the cap;
5. Pour the DNA preservation solution into the saliva collector,
and confirm that the layered interface between the liquid and the
upper foam in the sample collection reaches the scale line shown in
4ml;
6. Unscrew the collection funnel from the screw mouth of the saliva
collector and remove the funnel (remember to dispose of waste after
use to avoid contact and pollution);
7. Tighten the cap of the tube on the sample collection tube, and
mix the liquid in the tube upside down to fully mix the DNA
preservation solution and the saliva sample to complete the sample
collection.
Precautions:
①. Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew gum within 30 minutes before
collecting the saliva sample
②. Most people need 2 to 5 minutes to collect saliva samples
according to the above steps.
③. Before starting to collect saliva, please relax your cheeks and
gently massage your cheeks with your fingers for 15 to 30 seconds
to generate saliva.
④. Confirm that the outer packaging of the saliva sample collection
tube is in good condition, check the saliva preservation solution
tube, and confirm that there is no leakage. Important note: The
saliva collection solution that leaks or is cloudy from the
preservation solution should not be used!
⑤. Under room temperature storage conditions, the saliva samples
collected by this product can be stored stably for 12 months, and
high-quality high-molecular-weight DNA fragments can be isolated
within the storage period. Due to individual differences in
samples, the specific shelf life of different samples fluctuates.
